Hi Hendrik,

Oracle Discoverer gives you the possibility to define reports for end-users in Oracle BI EE you can also define reports for end-users but you have loads of other possibilities, e.g. each user has it's own user-defined reports and dashboards with pre-filtered data, a user can define his/hers own reports, data can be exported to excel, word, powerpoint, pdf, you have api's to deliver reports using web services, ... You can find all needed information regarding these products on the oracle websites such as oracle.com and technet.oracle.com. You have specific technical questions, issues regarding these tools or regarding migration please leave a message.
